What data we collect

Casfy Dictionary collects the following data:

• Authentication token: If you log in to your Casfy account, your login token is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API. This token is used solely to save words to your Casfy flashcard decks.
• Website content: The extension reads Chinese characters on webpages you visit in order to display dictionary translations. This text is processed locally and is never transmitted to any server.

What data we do not collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit your browsing history, personal information, financial information, or any other data beyond what is described above.

How data is used

• Your authentication token is used only to communicate with the Casfy API to save words you explicitly choose to save.
• Chinese text detected under your cursor is processed entirely on your device and is never sent to any server.

Third parties

We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any third parties.

Data storage

Your login token is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API. You can clear this at any time by logging out of the extension or clearing your browser's extension storage.
